Learn Bridge
Supervised Bridge Play in Greensboro
An opportunity for newer players and players with social bridge experience to practice and learn bridge. One or more mentors will be on hand to answer your questions or give you guidance on the game. It is a learning opportunity although formal lessons are not usually part of the program.

The Details

When: The first and third Monday of each month. (subject to change)

Where: Guilford College United Methodist Church, 1205 Fleming Road, Greensboro in a room called “The Rock” which is behind the Fellowship Hall.

Time: 1:00pm to 3:00pm

Cost: $8 per session

What to expect
-
There will be pre-dealt hands (so the experienced players can use cheat sheets to look very intelligent).

The skill level of the participants range from very beginner to experienced, non-competitve players.

Partners are not required.

You may ask for help from the table at any time. Or you can ask for help from one of the experienced mentors.

You will get a detailed description of each hand at the end of the session.

Hopefully, you learn something each session.

The goal is to have a low stress place to play and learn. Come to practice. Come to learn. Come to meet new friends. Come to have fun!

What happens on the 2nd and 4th Mondays? A beginner game (0-200) will be held. The game starts at 1:00pm until no later than 4:00pm. You can play against the very same people you are familiar with in Supervised Bridge. It’s great fun. You will need a partner for this game. The entry fee is $8. Either Judy or Peter J.
